Washington State GOP Joins the Movement to ENDVBM

LD19 State Representative and WA GOP Chairman, Jim Walsh.

02JUN2025 — The Washington State Republican Party has officially joined forces with the #ENDVBM movement, signaling growing momentum across the Pacific Northwest to restore in-person voting and same-day election results.

The move is being championed by State Representative Jim Walsh, Chair of the Washington GOP and sponsor of Initiative IL23-126. This citizen-led effort aims to require voter ID and proof of citizenship in all elections in Washington state; core tenets of election integrity supported by the #ENDVBM coalition.

“Our long-term goal is to get where ENDVBM is going,” said Rep. Walsh. “We want to get back to in-person voting. We want to get back to same-day vote count.”

The joint operation between the Washington GOP and #ENDVBM marks a historic alignment between grassroots activists and party leadership across state lines. The Pacific Northwest is becoming ground zero in the national fight to eliminate universal vote-by-mail and restore public trust in our elections.
